Leash walking Program Description

Imagine a nice walk with your dog without being dragged and risking injury.  Imagine actually looking forward to taking your dog out for a walk!

Well you can and you will after you participate in the Leash Walking class (for determined pullers).  Come join us and begin the journey towards more pleasant walks with your canine partner.

For dogs...

  • That are dog and people friendly
  • That are focused on the environment and struggle to look at their guardian...YOU!
  • That pull hard all over the place, from side to side towards every bush, lamppost and other objects in the environment in an effort to investigate and urinate
What you will learn in this class...
  • How to prevent bodily injuries to you AND your dog
  • How to teach new skills and implement them resulting in a structured/calmer walk
  • How to utilize the environment to reinforce behaviour (it's not all about food)
  • All this and much more
What your dog will learn...
  • To walk calmly knowing good things will happen when they do!
  • How to regulate those strong emotions they feel when they're outside
  • How to orientate to to other end of the leash; the handler
  • All this and more!
