Does your dog have you frustrated at times?
Did you just adopt an adult dog that needs more life skills?
Do you need help with your growing puppy?

Polite Dog Class is for puppies, teenage and adult dogs with very little obedience skills.  Whether you’ve got a 16 wk old or a newly adopted 2 yr old, Polite Dog is for any dog guardian that wants a polite, well behaved dog. By the end of this class you’ll be confident to continue teaching your dog using methods that are safe and humane.

In Polite Dog we cover:

  • Basic manners : Come, Down, Stay, Eye contact, Leash skills, Leave it, Go to Mat
  • How to train new behaviors in the future
  • How to solve current problems and prevent unwanted behaviors from developing, using humane techniques.
  • ….And much more

Positive Transformations Class

Have you stopped walking your dog for fear of him hurting another dog?
Does your dog embarrass you with aggressive behavior towards people, dogs or other triggers in his environment?
Are you using punishment based training and finding the behavior worsening?

Join the Reactive Dog Program and start walking your dog with confidence.  In this program, we get to the heart of the behavior with a preclass consultation and 1 lesson. This will enable you to get more from the class.  Reactive behavior is complex and treatment is multi layered.  In this class:

  • Empower yourself and build your confidence in your handling skills
  • Learn how to implement a Positive and Humane training program into your dog’s life
  • Learn techniques to help your dog cope and not have an outburst with his/her triggers
  • Learn why it’s important to advocate for your dog; When and How to do it
  • Class includes: Q & A time – Individual instruction
  • Phone & Email support during and after the class is completed
  • Handouts on theory and training
